The enthusiasm from spectators in Ex-Yugoslavia was confirmed by an Audience award at the 9th Liburnia Film Festival in Croatia and the 2nd Prize at the 12th Mediterranean Film Festival in Siroki Brijeg, Bosnia.

"For depiction the theme of the aftermath of the armed conflict through humor" – (International competition)

Immediately followed by an award in Romania, at the Astra film festival.

«The jury appreciated that a serious issue was viewed with great humour, tact and warmth. There are many films in the festival about the gap between the village and the city in Europe and in this film we see it played out through the central character as he deals with bureaucratic hurdles and unscrupulous intermediaries. This film is a contemporary tragi-comedy of loneliness and a frustrated search for companionship»

Proving its appeal for various audiences, the film then recieved an award at the 38th International Festival of Sustainable Development Films - Ekotopfilm 2011, which chose the film to get the Prize of the Ministry of labour, family and social affairs.

Finally, last week-end, it recieved the Dutch Golden Stone Award for Best documentary at the International Debut Film festival in Amersfoort, The Netherlands.
